Here I Am

Wow...a really late entry! Sorry to my regular readers. The well has just been dry...not much to comment on, at least for me.

Until now.

Brin and I both watched the St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Mets to head to the World Series. It was a close, exciting game - tied 1-1 until the Cards got a two-run homer in the top of the ninth. In the bottom of the inning, the Mets got two men on with no outs, loaded the bases with two outs...and Carlos Beltran struck out looking. Ouch.

So the Cards face the Detroit Lions in the World Series. Neither team has been there in a couple decades. This should be good.

Backing out of my narrow garage, I misjudged the egdes and destroyed my passenger-side rear-view mirror. Damages will come to about $275.

Expensive lesson. I'll make sure THAT never happens again.

Well, well. Look who's been around for 25 years.

I met him and his band after his first album came out. I got all their autographs. Really nice people. I'm glad he's been around this long.

I can't imagine a world without his...commentary.

heh, I've done that before. It didn't have to be replaced because I'm lucky enough to have a car that the mirrors bend backward.
