Will It Go 'Round In Circles (my arrangement)

2006-11-27 - 11:07 a.m.

Well, Brin beat me to the punch about the argument we had. Go read her entry, and then come back.

Back now? Good.

Well, it looks like the Arial font is the winner, which is fine by me. At this point, we also changed the menu and the header to a font called "American Typewriter", which seems to go better with Arial than the old Copperplate did.

THIS is why I insisted that she have some kind of credit over here - because I simply DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS STUFF. Insert links? I can do that much. But everything I've learned has been from following HER EXAMPLES...right down to today's entry name.

I refuse to take credit for something I don't know how to do.

Well, Rep. Charles Rangel explained his reasons for wanting to reinstate the draft. Here's a quote from the article:

I want to make it abundantly clear: if theres anyone who believes that these youngsters want to fight, as the Pentagon and some generals have said, you can just forget about it. No young, bright individual wants to fight just because of a bonus and just because of educational benefits. And most all of them come from communities of very, very high unemployment. If a young fella has an option of having a decent career or joining the army to fight in Iraq, you can bet your life that he would not be in Iraq.

He must be using the John Kerry playbook.

Well, it did some raining this morning. I woke up at about 10:20 and found that the area is nice and wet.

It's about time. Of course, this means that I'll have to leave for work about an hour earlier... because here in Southern California, most people don't know how to drive in the rain. The traffic will be awful.

So, allow an extra hour to go about three miles? That sounds about right.

Watched "Goldfinger" last night. Now I know why it's considered one of the best Bond movies ever.

===

Well, if I'm leaving extra early, I need to get ready.

Be seeing you.
