A Saturday entry? I must be working a night shift.

Brin is coming back from her trip to LA. She'll post a write-up when she gets back, I guess. I pick her up at the train station at 1:30 or so. Then I bring her back here and I go to work.

Speaking of Saturdays, we actually have a Saturday night gig next week. Sleep may wind up being part of the equation, but I doubt it.

We also may have an out-of-town gig in a few weeks. More details as events solidify.

I've actually had to do something that I've never done before - file a grievance on eBay. I bought a DVD last month, and promptly sent out a money order. Well, it's been almost a month and nothing. I looked last night and saw that the seller is now "no longer a registered member". So I filled out the form.

Turns out this guy has quite a bit of negative feedback in the last few days - all of them "item not shipped" complaints. But in the same time-frame, there are positive feedback items for timely shipment. Go figure.

Well, if I can't get the dispute resolved I'm out about $10, so it's not going to kill me. As roommate Jim said, "It's not like you bought some thousand-dollar item."

Still, it's an annoyance. But I've been an eBay member for almost ten years, and this is the first problem I've had of this kind. I'm sticking with them.

Last night the Ducks lost their first game of the Western Conference Finals to the Detroit Red Wings, 2-1.

It's a best-of-7. They have time.
