Only Time Will Tell

Not much going on today, either. I think my world is taking a quick breather before the insanity of summer hits.

We're already in upheaval mode: THIS is being installed.

It has to be professionally installed, by the manufacturers. They sent two techs to set it up. We're getting a set of four - two pairs of two - and it takes the techs about four days to set it up. Which is fine - these guys do this all over the US, all year long.

Problem is, they were supposed to be here - and start - on Tuesday, so we'd have this new thingie over the weekend. They started on Friday.

So they've barricaded off about a quarter of the arcade. Over the weekend. When we have birthday parties. Get the idea?

Today we get trained on maintaining these beasts. Hopefully it'll be worth it when it's all done.

Only time will tell.

Other than that, things are SO dull I actually have to link to a Paris Hilton story.

According to this, Hilton says she will no longer be "acting dumb".

Okay, let's get it out of the way. All together now:

Okay. All out of your system now? Good.

Sometimes it takes something big and nasty and jarring to shake up our lives, and put our feet on the right path. Doesn't matter if it was a dog bite, or a spanking, or the death of a friend or family member. I'm sure everyone has a tale of redemption somewhere in their lives.

If this actually helps her get her head screwed on, hey - more power to her. Maybe Lindsay Lohan and Britney could use a stint at the Gray Bar Hotel.

Only time will tell.
