School Days

2007-08-27 - 12:00 p.m.

Busy busy weekend at work.

We had several employees not show for their shifts, and we got buried. Fortunately, our customers saw how busy we were, and cut us tremendous slack. And believe you me, I thanked them for their patience - I've had times where customers DEMANDED that I help them NOW...and it was over wanting to redeem 23 tickets.

This is the last week of our summer schedule. Colleges start today, and the K-12 schools start shortly after Labor Day. Soon the "nine months of tranquility" will be upon me.

Ahhhh.

Here's your global warming moment of Zen for today.

American Thinker has an article about Dr. James Hansen, NASA's drum-beater for global warming.

Go read it, please.

Today I get to pay two bills that came last week, and I will be delivering episode #5 of OFF THE WALL to the cable broadcast station.

Then, work. Hopefully I can sneak in lunch somewhere.

Be seeing you.
