Wipe Out

2007-10-19 - 9:01 a.m.

Well, Brin arrived safely last night. She was so wiped out I immediately put her down for a nap.

Once she woke up, we headed to the Park for a little while. We caught Pirates and the Haunted Mansion (the Mansion having been decked out with the Nightmare Before Christmas theme) before time ran out. We sat and had a pretzel - Brin loves the Mickey Mouse-shaped ones - and headed home for a late dinner.

We both wound up going to bed much earlier than usual...which is why we're awake much earlier than usual.

John Stossel takes on Al Gore and global warming on tonight's 20/20.

Remember earlier this year, when the new Democrat-controlled Congress promised earmark reform? Well...

This panel from Girl Genius (the storyline arc it references is here) is now available on T-shirts, mousepads, etc.

Makes me wanna get back to drinking coffee.

Today promises to be busy. Brin wants a haircut, and we need to get to Fry's to pick up a new cooler for her laptop.

And we need to fit lunch in there somewhen.

And then, of course, the band gig tonight.

Shower's free.

Be seeing you.
