Blowing In The Wind

2007-12-06 - 11:10 a.m.

I came home from work with a couple of concerns about Solange, my new roommate. She was all alone in her new environment, and I was also hopeful she'd know where the litter box and food/water dishes were.

I needn't have worried - I found some offerings in the box and the food dish showed signs of use. Once I opened a can of moist food she came right out and visited for most of the night.

One thing that did surprise me. I turned on the TV in the bedroom and she hopped onto the bed and watched it with me. The show was the American version of this show.

This looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

A Clinton campaign worker "resigned" after forwarding an e-mail critical of Barack Obama.

But this quote is interesting:

Zimmerman said the Clinton campaign never talked to Rose about why she sent it but simply demanded her resignation after another one of the recipients decried the e-mail in a post on the liberal blog Daily Kos.

"Demanded her resignation" sounds an awful lot like "she was fired", but with a face-saving option.

From the PC Is Bullshit Dept.:

An Aussie Santa has been fired from a departmant store for saying "ho-ho-ho", because "women might be offended because 'ho' is American slang for a whore".

Better not tell that to all the Asian folk who have Ho as part of their name, not to mention this fellow.

How 'bout that global warming, huh?

So here's the deal - environmentalists want us to develop alternative power sources, but when you try to implement them, the groups sue because of environmental impact.

C'mon, people - make up your minds.

===

Well, I have a couple things to take care of, including laundry.

Be seeing you.

Hey, as long as her I/O ports are functioning correctly, the rest of the programming will fall into place. See you shortly!
