I Believe 2008-07-23 - 12:47 p.m. Did some thinking last night. Took some Advil for the headache. Then, once the pain had subsided, thought some more. This is what I came up with. One of the reasons (I believe) for my weight loss is a change in my eating habits, and it's not just eating less. I've taken to having some chicken wings at work at about 10pm or so. Then I go out at about 10:30 and pick up trash from the cigarette butt pots on the five golf courses. There's one at each hole, so I walk all five courses - including all the hills. So how does that help me lose weight? Well, I'm eating chicken meat, which (although fried in trans-fat-free oil) is mostly protein. Then, by walking the courses, I'm exercising - working off said protein. Then, when the night is over, I don't feel the need to go out to Del Taco or such and get a meal. When I do get a late-night meal, I then sit in front of the computer...so the late-night meal winds up attaching itself to my innards. So...smaller meal, working it off, and no later-night meal. It's working for me. === Oh, there's one other thing that I believe is helping. Eight months ago, I got a cat to chase around. === Okay, nothing much else to write about. Maybe more tomorrow.
