Crash

2008-09-23 - 12:50 p.m.

Last night, the Angels beat the Mariners. It's the Angels' 97th win and the Mariners' 99th loss.

There are six more games left in the season, three of which are Angels v. Mariners. The odds are extremely good that the Angels will win 100 games and the Mariners will lose 100. Both would be firsts for the respective teams.

Vlad Guerrero hit his 25th homer - now only he and A-Rod have had 25 or more homers for the last eleven consecutive seasons. And Frankie Rodriguez got his 61st save.

It's a good year to be an Angels fan.

Could al-Qaeda be planning some operations to influence the election?

It worked in Spain in 2004.

Remember how Nancy Pelosi said the Democrats weren't responsible for the current financial crisis? Not even a little bit? It was all the Republicans' fault?

Bullshit.

This is huge - a PR firm linked to the Barack Obama campaign was behind a smear campaign against Sarah Palin.

We have a confession.

No word yet on whether the campaign paid the PR firm to do so. If the campaign did pay anything to them, Obama will most likely crash and burn. I'm sure more news will come out as it unfolds.

Except from the MSM, of course.

Kids in Pittsburgh now no longer have to fear a failing grade. Even if every question is answered incorrectly, they'll get a score of 50%.

And then there's this twerp.

The future of America, gang.

This one's for Bob Lai, who asked a long time ago about when the Adam West Batman series might be released to DVD.

A news report on TVShowsonDVD.com lists the many MANY things that might be holding up such a release. So don't hold your breath.

But today the first season of Friday The 13th: The Series comes out.

Looks like I may do some shopping before work.

Okay, onward into the day.

Be seeing you.

I've seen bootleg versions of the 1960's Batman series at conventions, just don't know if I want to drop $80 on someone's rip off of TV Land.
