Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

2008-10-24 - 1:43 p.m.

Spent most of yesterday flopping.

Watched two James Bond movies I'd never seen before: From Russia With Love and You Only Live Twice. Got an interesting surprise - the screenplay for YOLT was written by Roald Dahl - the same guy who wrote the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, amongst many others.

I just never got a chance to see the Sean Connery Bond movies, and although they are quite good I still enjoy Roger Moore's earlier ones, along with all the Brosnan ones.

And based on the trailers, Quantum Of Solace looks good.

===

Then a bit later on, I was watching A Grand Day Out. My next door neighbor came up to my screen door and announced, "I hear Wallace and Gromit!"

Nice to know we've got some similar tastes.

===

I like this song and the animation.

So there.

===

Well, I spent yesterday at home. Today I must get out amongst the 3-D people.

Be seeing you.

"Crackin' toast, Grommit!" I love the world of Nick Parks.

And did you know that Ian Fleming also wrote "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"?
