Escape

2009-01-23 - 10:54 a.m.

The rain that was expected yesterday finally arrived - at 3am THIS morning.

===

And I get to go out in it.

I contacted my tax guy yesterday. I'll be picking up the 10-99 forms for Bob today.

I also have my appointment - it'll be in early March, just as I predicted.

So my (federal) refund should arrive in mid-March, right when I need it. I don't know when the state refund will arrive; we'll see if a budget has been approved by that time.

I should escape the worst of the financial crunch I detailed here.

===

I came across another room escape game. This one is called Charisma. You're in a recording studio, and you have to convince the man in the control booth to let you out.

How? By giving a good enough performance.

This one is easier than most of the others I've played. First hint - start by looking in the trash can.

Good luck.

===

And we have more Doctor Who news.

David Tennant is dating Georgina Moffett, who played the daughter of Tennant's Doctor. It turns out Moffett is the real-life daughter of...Peter Davison, the Fifth Doctor.

===

Okay, I'll need to shower before I head out into the world.

Be seeing you.
