Don't Think Twice, It's All Right

For quite awhile after Laila moved in, Solange was not her usual affectionate self. She stopped jumping into my lap while I was at the computer, she stopped her evening jump-on-the-leg-for-skritches, and so on.

I chalk it up to her being mad at me for bringing another female into the "den", and paying more (in her opinion) attention to this new female.

Well, the ice seems to have broken. Over the last week, the lap-jumping and leg-climbing has resumed.

She has forgiven me, or accepted Laila. Or both. And everything is all right again.

The female mind is unfathomable...no matter the species.

Many politicians like to raise taxes on the "rich", saying they don't pay their "fair share" (which is not true, by the way). That's what's been going on in California for quite awhile.

Well, California politicians would do well to look at what's happening in Maryland.

I think what you've done for your furry little friend is just heartwarming and the ultimate in compassionate. I've tried to send you a donation (though small for now) but there is a glitch somewhere because no matter what number I type in, it keeps telling me to enter an amount more than zero. It's more than zero (5) but it won't take it...I'd give more if I had it right now...but fix it and let me know? And thanks again for being the savior of a furry friend...

seems to me that solange has accepted laila, and since she has shown laila who the boss is, she now feels comfy and has gone back to her own ways!!
