Last night I informed a group of customers that we would be closing "in about thirty minutes, at 11pm".

One of the teenage girls in the group said, "Awwww, why?"

"Because that's our closing time."

And she said, "Ohhhhhhhhh."

Some car dealers in New York are pulling out of the Cash For Clunkers program, saying that since the government hasn't reimbursed them for the rebates they've already paid out, they can't afford to offer any more.
