Howdy howdy.

September 8. Most of the kids are back in school now.

At work, we will now probably start working on setting up for the day care.

We'll see what's gonna happen.

Today President Obama is to address schoolchildren via a broadcast message. Naturally, conservatives are in an uproar.

Here's the text of the speech. It's a call for children to realize that education is also THEIR job, THEIR responsibility. And (thankfully) there's no mention of politics that I can see.

This is a speech that I think a lot of kids need to hear...and it wouldn't be out of place from a Republican president.

Bob is trying to find us a once-a-month gig so we'll be playing three times a month instead of two. There's also a possibility - a possibility, mind you - of an every-Friday gig in addition to the every-other-Saturday gig at The Other Place (also known as The Bar Formerly Known As Cero's).

I'll work with him as best I can. Work schedules can be juggled. I've done it before.

We'll figure something out.
