Goin' South

2009-09-24 - 9:50 a.m.

Not much to report today.

I'm heading down for a visit with my parents. Nothing's wrong - they've suggested many times that I come and visit for a day and today I decided to take them up on it.

Especially since all that's waiting for me here is heat and laundry.

===

The temps have spiked again. I took a picture of my car thermometer yesterday while I was driving to work. It read 107.

And this was at about 140pm.

The fans are on. The cats have plenty of water. The bathroom is amazingly cool.

We're all all right.

But heck, a visit with the folks sounds good for today.

Either that, or shelter in place with the heat. I'm not going to the Park today just so I can bake.

===

Sorry for the short post, but I have a drive to make.

Be seeing you.
