Cold Feet

Well, Saturday Brin and I kinda had plans to go to the Park, but after food and a couple errands we decided not to. So we stayed in.

Sunday I took her to the airport and dropped her off. This time, I made it to Jamba Juice in time to get a smoothie.

Then I came home and did a BUNCH of laundry.

Ahhhh.

Woke up last night with freezing feet. It's been down in the low-to-mid-40s and, despite having two cats sleeping on me and being fully dressed, I was still cold.

So I put my slippers on and went back to bed. Within five minutes, the cats were curled up on me again.

And now it's Monday. And February.

My birthday is in two days...and it's supposed to rain for a lot of this week.

I was gonna go to the Parks.

Well, I guess we'll see.

So we have ANOTHER week with rain coming. Lovely.

Sorry that there's nothing else to comment on.

I'm gonna grab some lunch and get ready for work.

Some people like to do nice things for people without being noted, appreciated, or even reognized for it. Anonymity (think: anonymous donations to charity) is not an evil thing. Not having "an actual name" attached to anything shouldn't devalue my effort. As you have noted, this your "paid presence" in the internet, and you are free to object to what others may choose do to, but all I will say is: it was a simple wallpaper made from the book you mentioned buying recently. Check your spam folder between January 30th and February 1st, ... if you are interested. If not, I will not be offended. "Random acts of kindness" are rarely accepted by the general public, despite the cries for an increase in their occurrence. I go in peace.

Duly noted. What you may not realize is that I've gotten three viruses in e-mails in the week of Jan 28-Feb 2 (I didn't open them, thankfully) that had gotten past my filter, along with a Trojan Horse that Morton caught and squished. Please understand, I am therefore justifiably paranoid. Your e-mail was not in the spam filter; there was only about twelve offers to sell me Viagra (what do they know that I DON'T??) and offers for millions of dollars from Nigeria. If you are willing to try again, I will keep a watch out.
