It looks like my computer problems have been handled.

On Monday I ran it for about eight hours straight and then rebooted to check the CPU temperature - and it was in the mid-30C range.

I think it's gonna be all right.

Oh, and I paid back the loan. Thanks again, Brin and John!

Last night was the final Tichu game night for awhile - our hosts have small children that will be out of school soon, so they need to focus on soccer and Little League and what have you.

I suppose it's just as well - last week I could do no wrong, but this week I sucked. In every game I played, my partnership lost by hundreds of points due to bad plays, miscues, and just plain bad luck - even my partner told me that my plays were good and made sense, but when your opponents have TWO "bombs" in their hands...
