Our House (Is A Very Very Very Fine House)

Yes, I'm still using song titles for entry titles.

Hey, might as well use what little talent I have.

Looking for a new place to stay in the Florida area? Hulk Hogan is selling his Tampa mansion.

You've seen it on VH1's "Hogan Knows Best". It's so big, the real estate agent says you can get lost in it.

The price? A measly $25 million.

He's got a couple other homes, including one in LA. So he's not broke. But evidently he's trying to simplify a little. Hogan told the Miami Herald in a recent interview, "I've got to downscale. We'll head toward Miami like the Beverly Hillbillies."

I met him about twenty years ago when he was a huge wrestling star, back in his heyday. He was huge, and very much into the "exercise, vitamins, prayer, believe in yourself" mantra that was his character. Very intense, but also the standard "gentle giant" - very kind to the crowd of fans that had gathered, posed for a few pictures, and such.

He was a really nice guy. I don't watch the show, but I hope he still is a nice guy.

Richard Stahl passed away. The name may not be familiar to most of you. He had a long and varied career of mostly guest spots on various TV shows, from "Laverne & Shirley" to "Diagnosis: Murder" to "What's Happening!" to "Love, Sidney", to...well, you get the idea. His IMDb page is here.

I confess, I had to go look him up on my DVD set of "Soap". He was in a season 2 episode, playing a cop. He looked like he played a lot of tough guys.

Neal Boortz's site has a whole bunch of pictures he calls the Redneck Scrapbook. Some of these are hilarious, some are just sad. Anyway...what if you're handicapped and want to go off-roading? No problem!

===

Be seeing you.
