We made it through the holiday weekend at work.

Amazingly enough, it quieted down at about 6pm. But boy, it was busy till then.

Picked up a copy of Stephen King's Desperation in hardback (I got it and Insomnia, also in hardback, for $4). Interesting novel. And both have links to the Dark Tower series, which I really enjoyed.

For what it's worth, the ending in Book VII of Dark Tower makes perfect sense to me. I agree with King - it's not a great ending, but it makes sense in the overall framework.

Speaking of Dark Tower, look what you can get!
