The Turn Of A Friendly Card

2007-05-11 - 7:46 a.m.

Friday. The start of the weekend for most of you. The end of the weekend for me.

Yesterday we watched Kelvim Escobar pitch a complete shut-out against the Indians, with the Angels winning 8-0. We did a little shopping at Wal-Mart and then came home to watch Kill Bill Vol.2. Brin did some packing for her trip today, and then we fell down at around midnight.

At about 6:30, my back ached enough that I was awakened for the day. My guess is, I slept in a bad position in the armchair. Brin was already awake - again, doing some prep for the trip - so therefore the early (for me, anyway) post.

===

Got some good news last night in my web searches.

One of my favorite book series is continuing. Wild Cards is coming back.

===

So, today.

As Brin mentioned here, she's taking a train trip to LA to see Keane and visit a family friend.

So we need to get out early if we're going to eat at something other than McDonald's.

Shower's free.

Be seeing you.
