So. Yesterday.

We stopped off at the local mall to pick up my reserved copy of season 2 of the Muppet Show...when I saw on a shelf a copy of season 4 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It had a list price of $59.99...and a sale price sticker of $19.99.

That's not a typo - $40 off a new sealed set.

I snapped it up. Besides, it looked lonely.

Then, after the Angels beat the Blue Jays 4-3, we went to the Park. Brin documented the assorted bullshit here.

I honestly didn't mean to knock that hard. But at least it worked. One time I was riding Tower Of Terror and some twerp sitting next to me started shouting "Yeah, boyeeeeeeeeeeeee" a la Flavor Flav as soon as it started.

Dude - screwing it up for other people isn't as funny as you think it is.

Then, this morning.

I get a phone call from work. Two new games have been delivered, and they needed the ticket dispensers converted so they would dispense our tickets.

I'm sure the general manager said, "There's only one man who can help us now...SUPER DAVE!!"

So I went in this morning for about 90 minutes. Oh well - I get paid, and I look indispensible. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Besides, it gave Brin a chance to shower.

Today, lunch and a little bit more retail therapy.

And - due to the early wake-up call - a nap.

Then, the gig. Boy, is there a story THERE...but I'll wait until the dust has settled.
