Last night, Bob and I headed down to a club in Huntington Beach to check out their stage set-up. We're going to be playing a gig there on Saturday, and we figured it would be a good idea to check the place out in advance so there'd be no surprises on gig day ("Whaddaya mean, there's only ONE plug we can use??"). It also gave us a chance to find the place and know where we can park and such. Then we talked about some show ideas. It'll be awhile before we can do show #6 - probably sometime next year - but we're trying to lay the groundwork. === For many inside views on the Writer's Guild strike, I recommend you check out Mark Evanier's blog (link at left). === It's Monday, so that means Mark Steyn. NOTE: This is a repeat of a previous column...but it still is, I think, valid. === Not much else to say today - there's going to be some major upheavals and some change in my life before the year is out, but today is calm and cold. I think I'll go make some lunch. Be seeing you.
