Wonderful Christmastime

2007-12-25 - 12:45 a.m.

Okay...first, a message from Solange's namesake:

Now, then. Last night, I came home from work, did laundry, watched more Soap...and then settled in to watch this Christmas classic. While not one of my favorites, it really does have a charm all its own, and it grows on you...kinda like mold.

Someday, I may get the "major award" for myself. But not now.

===

I have a couple of things I'd like you to take a look at, if you'd be so kind.

Firstly, here's Brin's post.

Then, there's my post from last year. I still mean every word.

Then, from Mark Evanier's blog...a story about the man who wrote "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)"...the great Mel Torme. There's also some Christmas music - the whimsical and the classic.

===

So, here it is. Christmas Day, 2007.

I'm up early, with just a few wishes to you all before I head off to sleep for a little while.

If you travel, please drive safely and watch out for each other. Somebody out there loves you.

Don't over-do the food.

And if you get a check, make sure it has time to clear before you spend it.

Now, then...

Merry Christmas to all.

Be seeing you.
