Back again. We did the upgrade on the bill acceptors so they'd take the new five dollar bills, and this required me to drive into LA during rush hour. Whee.

But it's done. Now we don't have to exchange the new bills for old just so a customer can buy tokens.

Here's another one of those stories that you just can't believe would actually happen. But it did.

And the mother didn't do fuck-all to stop it, either.

Why is it some people who deserve to raise kids can't, and the ones who SHOULDN'T raise kids do?

Michele Obama was at a speaking engagement. The event coordinators handpicked the students who would sit behind Mrs. Obama. They were heard saying "we need more white people".

Folks are just now realizing that Hillary is untrustworthy.

Ooo - global warming will raise the price of beer!

No it won't - it'll be from using all the farmland to grow corn to make into ethanol (for the subsidies, of course). ALL food prices will go up from that...but global warming will be blamed so THOSE subsides (i.e., grants) will keep coming.

Perhaps if the media and punditry weren't so in love with the 'inevitable' story they pushed for the better part of a year, they'd have paid attention to the facts. Then again, maybe not.
