![]() A Town Without Pity 2008-04-17 - 11:00 a.m. Today is going to be a busy one. Brin is going to give my hair a trim, we're going to grab some lunch, I take her to the airport for her flight back to San Francisco, and then I go to tonight's Angels game. Brin's panic is at a far-reduced rate, since she has already done most of her packing. This is also a relief to myself, because it means I won't get run over as she scrambles to finish. === From Hud's blog comes the following items: Radar magazine has an article about Anonymous' protests against Scientology. It details a visit to Clearwater, FL - arguably a town owned by the "church"...where strangers are photographed by unspeaking people while walking the streets. Not once, but several times. And yes, this is where the title links. And over here is a nice little video about Hillary and her lies...and the words spoken are all hers. === From FARK.com: Need to find a lawyer fast and don't want to waste time looking through the Yellow Pages or waiting for an ad from a TV lawyer to come up so you know who to call? Well... === A father and son were told they couldn't swim in a community pool in Great Britain. Why not? Because they weren't Muslim. === Remind me not to eat at McDonald's in Vancouver. === Several months ago, Brooke McEldowney (artist of 9 Chickweed Lane and Pigborn [links at left]) did an adaptation of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", using characters from both strips as the "cast". All those strips are now collected into a new Pibgorn book that's now ready for pre-order. My copy is already ordered. Heh heh. === Okay. Lots to do today. Be seeing you. === ![]()
