The Kids Are The Same
2008-10-14 - 12:25 p.m.
The wind drove many customers away yesterday. Today it's much calmer, but I need to go in and take care of some repairs. That's what overtime is for. === ACORN strikes again - they registered a seven-year-old. Oops. === The Democrats are constantly showing how much McCain and George W. Bush are alike. Ah, but as it turns out, there are many ways that Obama and Bush are alike. === The conservative-toned film "An American Carol" got very little promotion and consequently didn't do very well at the box office. I didn't see many ads for it. On the other hand, ads for Oliver Stone's new film "W." are all over the TV. And this from a director who said: "I want a fair, true portrait of the man. How did Bush go from an alcoholic bum to the most powerful figure in the world?" And according to the Wikipedia article, the producers plan on running TV spots for the film opposite McCain's ads. Just remember, the Obama tax increases on earners of $250k/yr are going to affect these Hollywood types, too. === Enough for now. I have work to do. Be seeing you.
