I Am Santa Claus

2008-11-13 - 1:12 p.m.

Went to work yesterday, and found that I was the third supervisor working and the fifth employee on duty...with maybe a dozen people in the building.

So I clocked out and ran some errands for a bit. After that, I went to Fry's and browsed...and found the perfect Christmas present for Brin.

You know that feeling when you find something you just know someone's gonna love, and you no longer have to worry about what to get that person? And it's reasonably priced? Exactly.

After a quick phone conference with John (just to be sure that John wasn't already planning to get this item for her), I picked it up.

I'll most likely mail it next week. I know there's no way she'll be able to take it home with her when she visits.

I've already come up with ideas for gifts for the few relatives I buy for and roommate Jim.

So my Christmas shopping is essentially done. In November.

I need to actually go out and buy the gifts, but that's the easy part. Everything I need to get is never out of stock.
