Scenes From An Italian Restaurant

Well, the rain quit last night and we got a couple courses open. I stayed upstairs running small lasertag games, but the arcade stayed busy for most of the night.

Today will likely be more of the same. There's another storm coming in Wednesday, and it's supposed to rain through Christmas. I expect another freeway jam-up for my trip to Escondido.

Maybe I should leave Christmas Day at about 6am. If I get there early, I'll find a Denny's and drink coffee.

At least I'd stay warm.

Forgot to mention.

Wednesday, I got the word from Bob Chance. The new owners of Cero's want the band back, long-term. We don't know when the new start date will be, but I expect it to be sometime in February.

Based on some e-mails I've seen, some of the "old guard" customers (which include former owners of the bar, I should add) aren't too happy with the refurbishment plans that are being implemented.

We'll see how it turns out. I'll keep you all appraised.

We WILL be playing New Year's Eve at a local Italian restaurant that offers live music. No word if dinner is included.

It would be a shame if it wasn't. I've eaten at this place, and it is GOOD. Maybe I'll go in early and eat, and then play.

Speaking of which, I need to make some lunch before I go out into the day.
