Standing On Higher Ground

2009-05-06 - 10:48 a.m.

Laila continues to heal. She's becoming more and more active.

I mentioned that she's learned how to climb up onto the bed. But then she surprised me - she jumped from the bed to the window perch:

I got her down, because I'm not sure she's ready for a landing on her still-healing leg. All of you who have donated to her vet bill have been so generous, and after all I must protect your investment.

Those of you who haven't donated but would like to, please click on the "donate" button to the left, say thankya.

Well, with two cats the LitterMaid receptacles fill up twice as fast. Fortunately, the local K-mart also stocks them, so I don't have to go all the way to a Target.

If I do keep Laila, I'll have to find another source than the stores. There's an online location that sells a 60-pack for $40. I'll probably go for that one.

The apartment does NOT smell like cats. The kitchen does, but that's where the litter box is. I'm working on keeping the smell down.

To those of you who watch The Price Is Right:

Is it just me, or - since he grew his hair out and got different glasses - does Drew Carey look a lot like Greg Proops?

Today's title is by the Alan Parsons Project.

Coincidentally, there was a crossword clue yesterday for a four-letter word:

Parsons, with a "Project"

Heh heh.

Okay, onward.

Be seeing you.

you really need to keep laila now, shes established in your home and to uproot her and put her inna good home would not be good for her, psychologically.
