Ordinary Day

2009-05-29 - 1:21 p.m.

We had a game night last night and, after a false start, I got into the swing of it.

I was able to play four games - three of them new to me - in three-and-a-half-hours.

Fun was had.

There's not much else to talk about, really.

Laila continues to chase and be chased by Solange. They continue to get along.

My sunburns to continue to peel, leaving little flakes everywhere.

Everything is pretty much even keel, smooth...and a little dull.

Oh, here's news - Phil Spector has been sentenced to nineteen-to-life. He's in his late sixties, so he'll likely be in jail for the rest of his life.

I've rediscovered a classic album. I'd forgotten how good these guys were.

Here's a video for a song that wasn't the "big hit", but still one of the better tunes on the album.

And here's the hit.

They should have been bigger. And they're still out there, making new music.

Well, I have a couple errands to run before I go to Bob's to do some studio work.

I might have a post for you all this weekend. If I do, it'll be about the band gig Saturday night.

If not, have a good weekend.

Be seeing you.
