Summertime Blues
2009-06-15 - 1:06 p.m.
Woke up very early to use the restroom. Sat in the living room for a bit and watched the kittehs wrestle. Then I went back to bed and slept in. Woke up about twenty minutes ago. I need to get ready for work in very short order. Therefore, a very short post. === Summer hours will definitely start on Wednesday - right after the grad night on Tuesday. Instead of going in at 2, I'll start at 3. So I'll have an extra hour here at home...likely, to sleep. === June has been very cool so far this year. I've seen temperatures head into the low 80s, but that's been rare. Usually it's in the mid-70s. Now that I've said that, look for 100+ during the rest of the summer. === I'm going to open up the bedroom while I'm at work. I'd been closing the door so Laila doesn't fall on anything, but I'll need the air circulation for the apartment. Here's hoping everything works out. === Okay, I gotta get going. Be seeing you.

I expect it will be 100+ for a good chunk of the rest of the summer here. But that's what we get. I'm acclimated enough now that 100+ doesn't scare me too much anymore. When it gets over 110, though, that does give me pause. I hope we don't go there again this summer. Yeah, right. ===
