(She's So) Selfish

2009-06-30 - 11:11 a.m.

I wasn't kidding yesterday - I really did pick up Brin from the airport.

Her flight was supposed to arrive at 110pm, and it takes about fifteen minutes for her to get her luggage from the plane. So I was planning on a 1pm departure from my apartment - plenty of time to get to the airport.

This time she arrived at 102 and had her luggage ten minutes after that.

So she had to wait a bit longer than planned while I got through traffic.

After I got her safely here, I headed off to work. Business is beginning to pick up some. The day-care groups are almost an everyday occurrence. The walk-in customers, however, have been a little slower this year.

We'll see how it all plays out.

The tabloids were pretty busy last week, what with all the celebrities that we've lost.

Evidently, Kate Gosselin doesn't approve of her lack of coverage. Imagine the temerity of Michael Jackson to die and take the spotlight off of her and her problems!

So - despite the fact that they are leaving her alone (for the moment) - Gosselin issued a statement...asking that she and Jon be left alone.

Hubba hubba what??

I am amazed how the Japanese can make a game show out of just about anything!

Oh you're so lucky! I wish I could go to the home town buffet! My family and I used to go all the time when we lived in California. Now I live in Iowa and the buffets here really just don't compare. :(
