Hell To Pay

2009-07-16 - 12:04 p.m.

I've been playing more Doom 3.

I encountered two of the biggest nastiest boss monsters. Fortunately, I had the biggest nastiest gun.

But then the teleporter grabbed me...and drew me into the level called Hell. And when I arrived there...all my weapons were gone.

There are a few basic weapons around the arrival area - the pistol and the shotgun. And of course my fists. So I'm not completely unarmed.

But the third monster I encountered...was one of those big badasses. And all I've got...is the pistol and the shotgun. And of course my fists.

Eep.

And now - because you KNEW they were out there - some weird stuff you can buy on Amazon.

Brin, take note of the comments.

The headline says it all: "Dems threaten insurers with new fees".

But I thought the President said that the "government option" wouldn't interfere with private insurance companies.

I'm going to go in to work today. It's another one of those the-techs-are-on-the-East-coast deals.

Then home in time to catch the Angels-A's game.

Be seeing you.
