Another pretty good weekend for me.

Friday evening shift was handled without a lot of difficulty. Saturday I got to watch the Angels beat the A's, and gig night at the club went well.

Sunday I returned the bass that Brin had borrowed and, since I was in the "old neighborhood", I had dinner at Souplantation.

While at Souplantation, I was asked not once but twice to join their "Club Veg" discount program. I declined since there's no SP in my area. If there were, it'd be a different story.

Then, sated from the good food, I came home and took a nap.

Then, this morning.

I woke up, tried (unsuccessfully) to rub the sleep from my eyes, and noted that Solange was lying in her usual semi-liquid state across the window perch.

Then I looked closer:

Yep, that's Laila on the window perch.

She's also discovered how to get on top of the window fan. No pics of that yet, but I will work on it.

And don't worry - I double-checked the Velcro connections. That fan isn't going to move.

The temperatures have jumped up into the high 90s and low 100s. It's supposed to last for another couple days.

The kittehs have been staying in the cool places, even laying in the bathtub on occasion.

I'm keeping the water dish full, checking the reservoir every day and making sure it's full. Last night I cleaned it and scrubbed it and replaced the filter.

We all are doing good. It's hot, but we're managing.

Beyond that, it's status quo here at Chez Too Old...which is fine with me. I'm hoping that the status quo stays that way for awhile.
