Another stable and quiet weekend.

There are four weeks left in the summer season. Not that I'm counting or anything.

I'm having some interesting back-and-forth e-mails with Pinnacle Foods, the people who make Swanson frozen dinners. It's going to be one of those they-aren't-reading-my-words-they-are-just-sending-generic-responses.

It looks like some of the "stimulus" funds are supporting such wonderful things as live sex shows and gorilla porn.

Speaking of tax dollars...

Even the New York Times is saying that President Obama will have to raise taxes on everybody to pay for his health insurance plan.

Remember the campaign promise that 95% of Americans "will not see their taxes increase by a single dime"? Forget that.

Oh, and if you're among the elderly and you want to be vaccinated against swine flu...you may have to wait.
