Jack In The Box did a promotion yesterday. If you downloaded a coupon from their site, you got two free tacos on Tuesday.

Well, I downloaded and went there after work. And hilarity ensued.

First, the guy charged me for the tacos. Then he realized his mistake, took the coupon, and refunded me that money.

But then, when I got home and opened the bag, there were - you guessed it - no tacos. Everything else was there, but the free tacos weren't.

Looks like I'll be going back tonight.

From Deceiver.com comes news that PeTA is now attacking the obese.

Oh, and if you needed MORE proof that the folks at PeTA are crazy...well, take a look at this NSFW post.

Ya know...you always hear about PeTA throwing paint on old ladies wearing fur coats (and now they're targeting the obese and kids). I wonder why they don't try that shit with bikers in their leather jackets.

Because the old ladies and the obese and the kids are easier prey, of course.

Country duo Brooks and Dunn are calling it quits after twenty years. They're releasing a collection of number-ones and doing a farewell tour next year.

While I'm not a tremendous fan of their work, I do like some of it. They did a very nice remake of the 70s hit "My Maria", and "Neon Moon" is pretty. And of course they did some good ol' shit-kickin' tunes like "Boot Scootin' Boogie" - that one I can take or leave.
