Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)

Not much to talk about today.

Guitar Legend Les Paul passed away at age 94.

Without Paul's innovations - he invented the electric guitar and multi-track recording - rock and roll arguably would not be what it is today.

Now, today's outrage:

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was holding a town meeting on health care in Houston. A lady gets up and starts talking about why she opposes the health insurance reform.

While the woman is talking, Rep. Jackson-Lee answered her cell phone and carried on a conversation.

How can anyone believe that these people in power WANT to hear from their constituents - the people they (supposedly) represent??

Right now this minute, a man in a red VW Beetle is in a stand-off with police at the federal building in Los Angeles. He's suspected of making threats against the White House and the President.

Let's hope this ends peacefully for all concerned...including those in Washington, DC.
