Lettuce Sing

The heat is spiking again this week. The kittehs and I are coping.

And again, there's a new wildfire - this one up in the Ventura County area. Don't worry - it's nowhere near me.

If this fire was set, we need to have the arsonist dealt with.

The UN is having a summit on global warming "climate change".

So naturally everybody has a "convoy" of vehicles.

===

Oh, speaking of "climate change"...

One of the proponents of "reducing your carbon footprint" decided she had to go shopping at the local farmer's market - a farmer's market that she helped by obtaining special permission for street closure so the market could happen just a few blocks from her home.

So she got security, armored vehicles, the press, bomb-sniffing dogs, and more - to go buy some Tuscan Kale.

It was First Lady Michelle Obama.

Yeah...way to reduce that carbon footprint. Wouldn't it have been easier and less expensive to send a runner on a bicycle?

===

Okay, I need to get going.

Be seeing you.
