Pipes Of Peace

2009-10-09 - 11:52 a.m.

The Angels took the first game of the ALDS. Not only that, it was a shut-out - the first time that Boston has had a shut-out in post-season play since 1995.

The next game is tonight. After that, the teams go to Boston for a game on Sunday. And I have to work both days.

Thankfully, Brin is letting me borrow her portable radio, so I can get occasional updates.

Go Angels!

President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

The nomination deadline was February 1. Obama had been in office for less than two weeks.

I agree with Mark Evanier - I think the committee nominated him because he wasn't George W. Bush.

Brin informed me that there's a holiday in Australia this week, which might explain why I haven't heard from my eBay buyer.

That makes sense. I'll wait through the weekend before pinging him again.

Patience.

I discovered that Colin Mochrie is on Twitter. In one of his entries, he stated that this video amused him.

It's funny, all right...and kinda true.

Tomorrow is Flea Drop Day and Claw Trim Day.

If I survive, I'll return on Monday.

Be seeing you.
