![]() The Mail 2010-01-27 - 12:29 p.m. No post yesterday. You didn't miss anything. If I don't post, I'll put a note up on Twitter. I promise. === Yesterday it rained again. This time it quit at about 8pm and is supposed to be the last of it for at least a week. I had to go to Fry's and pick up something for work. While I was there I saw a lonely copy of Bloom County - The Complete Collection Vol 1 for $27. I couldn't resist. I grabbed it. And yes, I paid for it with my own money and not the company money. According to Amazon.com, Vol 2 is due out in April. Yay! === I came across a classic comedy routine on YouTube. This one is pretty special to me. I remembered it from my childhood, and it's one of my favorites. There's also a small story to it. When I was in my senior year in high school, I was in drama AND choir. We did a combined show that year, with the music department (band and choir) doing ensemble pieces and solos and the drama department doing little sketches and scenes. Not only did I have a solo song, I was also part of the "focus pullers". We didn't have a curtain, you see - so it was the job of the "pullers" to do small bits to pull the focus of the audience away from the stage (and the re-arranging thereof). My friend Bob and I did a couple of these. This particular comedy bit was one of them. Bob played the postman and I played...well, you can just guess. Here's the bit. Enjoy. === And if you think THAT was bad...take a look at this one. === Well, work calls. Shower's free. Be seeing you. === ![]()
