Gotta Go
2010-02-04 - 12:12 p.m.
Well, yesterday I finally made it out of here at about 3pm. I headed to the clinic for the blood draw...and there was a grand total of one person there. As I was signing in and paying I learned that, in addition to blood, they were also going to need a urine sample. I didn't know about this. They also told me that they couldn't do the blood samples without the urine sample. That put a little more "pressure" on me and fortunately I "passed". (There's the title link." I then went to the local barbecue restaurant for lunch (I figured that I needed some protein to counteract the blood draw) and then on to Disneyland. I got there at about 5pm, with a closing time of 8pm. I walked quite a bit, got many birthday wishes (including a call from my mom and pings from my brother), and even a birthday hug from a very sweet little girl. I'm going to try to go back on Sunday, weather permitting. They are calling for rain over the weekend. Who knows - maybe I'll even brave the rain and go anyway. We'll see. === Since I took yesterday off, I get to work tonight. Be seeing you.
