I Can See Clearly Now 2010-02-24 - 12:27 p.m. A bunch of "doctor" stuff today. Firstly, I got an envelope from my HMO today. When they send envelopes it's either 1) telling me that I need something ELSE tested, 2) bad news, or 3) a bill...which would also constitute "bad news", but I digress. So I cracked the envelope...and found, instead, GOOD news - there is no diabetic retinopathy. The last few times I've had that test, they sent a postcard with the result. In fact, this time I was TOLD I'd get a postcard. Oh well...at least my blood pressure meds are working fine. === Secondly, my DVD set of series four of Doctor Who arrived. Somebody must've used it for a football during shipment. Several of the DVDs had come loose in the case and the clear plastic holders had actually come loose from the cardboard. So I'm going to see if I can get hold of the glue gun at work and fix this thing. The DVDs seem just fine, thankfully. Also, I won a Doctor Who novel on eBay. The storyline has to do with...well, let's just say that the title is The Eight Doctors. === Newfoundland Premier Daniel Williams has had heart surgery...in America. Gosh, I thought the Canadian system was what we were supposed to start emulating. Guess not. Oh yeah, note this:
"If I'm entitled to any reimbursement from any Canadian health care system or any provincial health care system, then obviously I will apply for that as anybody else would," he said. Uh HUH. === Okay, I need to get going. They are calling for rain today, so I have no idea how busy I'll be. Be seeing you. === 0 comments so far
