![]() Follow Me 2010-03-02 - 12:47 p.m. I've discovered a couple annoying things about Twitter and Facebook. First, Twitter. I tweeted to Weird Al about the release of his sex tape that at least he "kept his health and didn't smoke afterward" (Al is a strict vegetarian, so I know keeping healthy is very important to him). In less than ten minutes, I had a new follower - a spammer who promotes a product to stop smoking. This isn't the first time, either - two days ago I tweeted the iconic theme to Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science"...and I got a new follower promoting a diet product with the word "science" in it. Now, Facebook. Like Twitter, FB keeps track of new items I might be interested in and checks once a minute for updates. Since there are so many many more things to check with FB, if I keep a FB window open, my system slows down...noticeably. So now I check FB at the start of my computer time and once or twice in-between. Otherwise, it's closed. === I've put together an interesting egg dish that is nice and high in protein and low on carbs. And it's easy - less than five minutes total, from prep to plate. Scramble three eggs. Cut two hot dogs into bite-size pieces. Pour the eggs into a hot pan, add the hot dogs and some shredded cheese. Cook it good. Shovel it onto a plate and add taco sauce - I prefer La Victoria green taco sauce, but use what you like, from salsa to Tabasco. It tastes better than it sounds, believe me. Anyway, I went to the store and found that the 16-pack of Ball Park franks, while not on sale, had some two-dollar-off coupons attached to them. I picked up two and put one in the freezer (you CAN freeze them for up to six months). Good deal. === Okay, onward. Be seeing you. === ![]()
