I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down

First, a thank you to the fine folks at Doombuggies.com who tried to answer my question about "Miss April" in Wednesday's post.

Evidently there IS no back-story. Maybe I could re-visit the idea of creating one.

Hmmm.

...and no post yesterday either.

What's happening is this. Since my schedule has been changed, I'm working more days and coming home in the evenings, sometimes shortly before dark. I am so used to writing in the morning that when I come in at night, there's no motivation to write - all I want to do is relax from the work day.

I'll need to get myself reset. So the posts will be later and a bit father between.

Jason kept me late yesterday so we could work on the schedule.

He's cutting shifts all over the place, but he's being aware of who needs what days off - as in, if an employee requests a certain day off they usually get it.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, there's a school right behind me. My bedroom windows face the playground, so I usually know when recess is.

Well, I had noticed earlier this year that it had been pretty quiet. Well, I found out why - the school is being upgraded. The buildings have been stripped - whole walls are gone. The kids have been moved to another location.

So now instead of listening to kids playing, I hear construction equipment.

I'm not sure that's an improvement.
