I still think that SHE is just a laughing stock. HE is just an old man having fun. If she hadn�t decided to be with him it wouldn�t have happened. It�s on her. It wasn�t Cruise�s choice. That�s why the laugh can�t be on him. She is more powerful, and she abandoned her beliefs. It�s her who can�t have a career on her own and needs to marry to get ahead! That�s why the laugh�s on her! I don�t get why everyone tries to laugh at Cruise. Please, he�s an OLD man! He had a family already! His heart has been taken already. She is young and full of juices, he has already lived! This doesn�t make HIM look bad. Why is everyone saying that? To me Katie is the bigger star.

Katie made poor choices, but that doesn't mean Tom isn't accountable for the fact that he's a washed-up old fart who is lucky enough to end up with a gullible young girl. That happens over and over again in all walks of life.

I don�t think Katie is gullible AT ALL. She married Cruise for one reason and that�s his career value. She thinks: I want a big career, so I�ll get close to someone who has one. That is her drive, that�s so sure. She�s so calculating. The one funny thing would be if she dragged him down with her and ruined his career-which is starting to happen to his reputation, isn�t it? She marries him to get bigger but instead she drags him down to her level. Woudln�t that be ironic?
