Went to the dentist yesterday. All is well - no new cavities.

Then the usual "I survived" lunch at Chevy's.

Then I headed to Target to get some LitterMaid receptacles. I did some looking around and found a pizza cutter with a plastic blade - and it's from a company I like.

I've been looking for one of these because my steel pizza wheel has destroyed a couple of my non-stick pizza pans. No matter how careful I am, there's almost always a new scratch on the pan...and I don't have anything big enough that I can transfer the pizza to for cutting. I could use my kitchen shears, but I don't want hot cheese dripping onto my fingers. It's no fun.

Of course, I had to try it out. So I went to the store after work and bought a Red Baron pizza.

The wheel worked perfectly - cut right through that crispy crust and didn't scratch my non-stick pizza pan.

Look for this utensil, people - trust me on this one. It's a bit more expensive (I paid $8.50 at Target) than the steel ones, but you'll save on non-stick pizza pans.

Just when you thought PeTA couldn't get any stupider...they do - by targeting children at a McDonald's in Albany, NY.

Man, a few child-abuse lawsuits might cool them down. Then again, they have the money for lawyers.

But if the parents find a lawyer willing to work on a contingency fee or (better) pro bono...

No further response from Pinnacle Foods yet.

Check yesterday's post for THAT story.

Right now, the Angels are leading the White Sox 7-4.

Day off, baseball, and laundry.

A usual Thursday, in other words.

Be seeing you.

Given the pattern of response so far, I think you'll get a letter containing the directions as printed on the box ...
