It's The End Of The World As We Know It

2006-05-10 - 10:03 a.m.

Okay. Track me on this.

The Mighty Ducks are in the second round of playoffs, and the LA Kings aren't.

The LA Clippers - the CLIPPERS - are in the second round of playoffs, and the LA LAKERS aren't.

But here's the kicker. Brace yourself.

"Pink Lady & Jeff" is out on DVD.

There were only SIX EPISODES of this thing, and it's OUT ON DVD!!!

Signs, signs, everywhere a sign...

Minor item:

I know the guy who wrote PL&J. It's Mark Evanier, and you can read his blog if you click the link over to your left.

I dropped him an e-mail last night to let him know that I'd seen the DVD set in the store. I said I'd buy one if he got a cut. He wrote back and said that his payment is negligible, so I didn't have to do it for that reason.

Go read his blog, and look around his site. There's LOTS of interesting show-biz stuff.

It's been pointed out to me that "POLICE SQUAD!" also only had six episodes.

But it was at least TRYING to be funny.

Be seeing you...if the world doesn't end.
