![]() Kiss And Say Goodbye 2010-10-07 - 2:39 p.m. Still working on a more regular posting schedule. I appreciate you guys staying around. === Life in general continues. There was a brief kitteh health scare when Solange started sneezing. It wasn't a constant sneeze, it was more like a once-in-awhile-explosion-of-three. This however happened only for a couple days, and it was after she got into a dark corner of roommate Jim's closet for a nap. It stopped just as suddenly as it started. She hasn't sneezed in quite awhile now. So my guess is she inhaled some dust bunnies and they decided to get some revenge. === The TV in the living room continues to not work right. I brought the DVD player into the bedroom, but I can't hook it up properly because the TV connections are different. I'll figure it out eventually. Either that or I'll just replace the living room set. === Jason continues to give weekly assignments. I continue to get them done. I continue to be employed. This is good. === Speaking of employment... Bob may have a band gig lined up for us. Let's hope. === The Angels had their first losing season since 2003. IMHO, it was a combination of a lack of run production and the bullpen imploding. There's always next year. === President Obama will be holding a town-hall meeting that will be broadcast on MTV, BET, and CMT. They are casting for the audience and questioners. Make up your own joke. === Gloria Allred has brought forward Meg Whitman's former housekeeper, Nicky Diaz, claiming that the maid was fired for being in the country illegally...even though Whitman supposedly knew Diaz was an illegal alien and kept her on till just before Whitman started her run for governor. Diaz presented Whitman with falsified documents. Supposedly the Whitmans got letters from the government saying that there was a question about Diaz's status. The first one had supposedly been seen by Whitman's husband, who told Diaz to "look into it". Whitman claims she never saw the letters, which is possible since one of Diaz's duties was to pick up the mail. Some questions: Allred claims to have those letters. How did she get them? Did Diaz intercept them? Diaz provided falsified documents. How credible is she as a witness, since it's already proven that she is capable of lying? Allred has also admitted to still being involved with Jerry Brown's campaign. Brown is Whitman's opponent. How credible is Allred? The timing is all too convenient - this all came out four weeks before the election. That's suspicious right there. Oh, and Jerry Brown is currently the state's Attorney General. Will he be filing charges against Diaz for falsifying legal documents and identity theft (that SSN had to come from somewhere... or someone)? I'm not holding my breath on that last one. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not a fan of Whitman or Brown. But this all seems to convenient, too perfect. Also, Whitman has gotten a spike in donations and support since this has happened. So thanks to Allred, Brown may very well wind up kissing his second chance at the governorship goodbye. === Okay. I'm working on cleaning out the garage. So, onward. Be seeing you. === ![]()
