Love Comes To Everyone

So I was awakened this morning by a good close friend of mine. Seems that something monumentous has occured in his life: after a very very long dry spell, he's started dating again.

If you knew this guy, you'd know that he's a wonderful human being, and it's about bloody time that some nice girl finally noticed.

No details here - my friend is a very private person. And it's his story to tell.

But the title of today's entry had to make SOME sense. :)

One of the games I played last Sunday was the old classic Crokinole. You probably saw the set-up for it on old Carrom boards.

Well, the game is far more popular than I had realized. There's even a World Crokinole Championship that as of this writing has had seven annual tournaments.

If you have the money to spare - like, about $500 between the board and the case - go here and take a look. I played on an Eagle board. The craftsmanship is gorgeous - you'll definately get your money's worth.
