Well, we are in Spring Break for some of our local school districts. Problem is, we didn't have enough people working. It has nothing to do with the economy - it has to do with some of our employees simply not being available to work those shifts.

However, last night we had a couple employees ask if more shifts were available. So we should have a couple more people working tonight and tomorrow night.

Just watch - those days will be quiet.

Speaking of Spring Break...

Anyone else remember when it was called Easter Break, and it was always the week before Easter?

Now it's Spring Break, and it could be the week before Easter...or the week after...or the TWO weeks before or after...or the week before AND the week after...and it's different for each school district.

Gary Graham talks here about how there should be LESS gun control laws.

I think he makes a good point, and he echoes something I've said before: the bad guys don't care about gun laws. That's why they're the bad guys.

The Angels lost their first game of the 2009 season last night, against Oakland...which is okay, because they won their first game Monday night, against Oakland. So they are even up right now.

They play Oakland again tonight, and then a series against the hated Red Sox.

There are several home games on Thursdays this year, as opposed to the dearth of Thursday home games last year.

I'm going to be spending some time at Angel Stadium this year.

The Weather.com site says there's a chance of rain today, and another chance late Friday night.

I know where my umbrella is, so all is well.
